02 Strictly necessary cookies
matflow uses only a single strictly necessary session cookie for authentication. This cookie (better_auth.session_token) is httpOnly and is managed automatically by our authentication system. It is required to keep you signed in.
03 Local storage (localStorage)
In addition, matflow stores the following settings in your browser's localStorage: • mf-theme — your selected colour scheme (clean, glass, bold) • darkMode — dark or light mode • mf-locale — your language setting (de/en) • mf-sidebar-collapsed — sidebar state These settings serve only to improve usability and are not transmitted to any server.
04 No tracking or marketing cookies
matflow does not use tracking, analytics or marketing cookies. No data is transmitted to third-party providers such as Google Analytics, Facebook or similar services. Your usage data is not processed for advertising purposes.
05 Managing cookies
You can manage or delete cookies in your browser settings. Please note that deleting the session cookie will require you to sign in again. localStorage settings can likewise be deleted via your browser's developer tools — your display preferences will then be reset to defaults.
06 Your rights
You have the right to know why your personal data is needed, what happens to it and how long it is retained. You have the right to access, rectification, erasure and data portability. If you have given us consent to process your data, you have the right to withdraw that consent.
